SCOTTISH ROOTS. THE ROAD AHEAD.
About Good Road HGV
Helping HGV learners and new drivers bridge the gap between passing the test and life on the road.
Every destination has a journey
Good Road HGV is a Scottish-based platform dedicated to helping people navigate their journey into professional truck driving. We share practical advice, real-world experiences and lessons learned along the way.
Whether you are considering your HGV licence, preparing for your test or finding your feet in your first driving job, there is always something new to learn.
Learn. Grow. Progress.
Learn: understand the journey towards your licence and training.
Grow: build skills in reversing, vehicle positioning, tachographs and route planning.
Progress: find your confidence, learn from experience and keep developing as a professional driver.
Real experiences. Practical guidance.
Our aim is to make the transition from learner to professional driver a little easier, with clear information and no unnecessary jargon.
